Perforating history

Perforating in the modern oil patch is no longer a simple affair. Oil exploration has gone deeper, and we’re now extracting oil from formations previously thought unobtainable. Our perforating teams show up on site ready to rig up and go in the well. When you’re ready for us, we’re ready to go in the hole. We specialize in both tubing conveyed and E -line perforating. When the zones get deep and hot. Asmary has the expertise to maneuver carriers in these hostile environments.

Perforation Firing System

1. Double Firing Head

  • The Double Firing Head consists of the Drop Bar Hydrostatic and Direct Pressure Firing Heads which function completely independent of each other inside a single assembly.
  • Operating procedures for this system are determined by which firing head is used as the primary system

Thread Bottom(pin) Tr65×4(P)
O.D. ?93mm
Over Length 1892 mm
Pressure Rating 10000 psi (70 MPa)
Temperature Rating Explosives Temp rating
Shear pin value See << Table of shear pin parameter >>
Break force of copper share pin 2.7 lb.ft(0.374kg.m)
Min firing pressure 870 Psi (6MPa)
Max not firing pressure 145 Psi (1MPa)

2. Circulating Vented Hydraulic Firing Head

The Circulating Vented Hydraulic Firing Head has Produced in Asmary and designed to be run in on tubing or coil tubing until the system is on depth. With the vent holes being open to the annulus, the tubing fills with well bore fluid and the pressure remains balanced between the tubing and annulus allowing for well control or circulation of different fluids before firing the head.

• Max OD 3.375”

• Max Firing Pressure 10000 psi

• Max Temperature 400 °F

3. Eline Coiled tubing Head

E-line Coiled Tubing Head was designed and manufactured in Asmary company for coiled tubing logging operations. E-line Coiled Tubing Head provides a means to connect wireline to coiled tubing and is used in production logging and with perforation guns.

Features and Benefits

  • Withstands to temperatures up to 302 ° F & pressure up to 10000 psi
  • Pump through design
  • Prevention of backflow
  • Mechanical release tool

4. Wireline HSD Firing Head

An electronic firing head is designed to initiate an electric detonator. This Electrical Firing Head systems have designed and produced in Asmary and are used with wireline cable.
