Our Sustainability Approach in HSE
As an organization operating in the upstream petroleum sector, our commitment to sustainability is central to every stage of our operations. We recognize that protecting the health and safety of our people, safeguarding the environment, and ensuring responsible resource development are essential not only to our success, but to the communities and ecosystems in which we work.
Industrial Health & Workforce Well-Being
We place the industrial health of our personnel at the forefront of our operational priorities. Through proactive health surveillance, comprehensive medical support, and continuous workforce training, we strive to maintain a healthy, resilient, and well-informed workforce. Our goal is to ensure that everyone who enters our facilities—whether a well-site, drilling rig, or production installation—returns home in the same or better condition.
Safety in All Workplaces
Safety is our foundation. We promote a culture where every individual has the authority and responsibility to stop work if conditions are unsafe. Our teams follow rigorous risk-assessment processes, industry best practices, and strict regulatory compliance to prevent incidents, minimize exposure to hazards, and maintain safe operational environments. By empowering our people and fostering open communication, we work to eliminate workplace injuries and maintain safe operations across all assets.
Environmental Respect & Responsible Operations
Our commitment to environmental stewardship guides our decisions from planning through execution. At well-sites and drilling rigs, we implement controls to minimize surface impact, reduce emissions, and ensure efficient use of energy and resources. We apply strict standards to fluid handling, drilling waste, and produced water management, including controlled disposal practices that protect soil, groundwater, and surrounding habitats.
We continuously seek technologies and methods that reduce environmental footprint—whether through improved waste treatment, optimized drilling systems, or enhanced monitoring of emissions and discharges.
Sustainable Energy Development
Sustainability in our industry requires balancing energy needs with responsible operations. We strive to achieve this by integrating health, safety, and environmental considerations into all decision-making processes, promoting transparency, and working collaboratively with regulators, partners, and local communities.

HSE Training & Compliance
Asmary has developed a comprehensive safety manual to which all employees must adhere. In addition to basic safety training for new employees, we also provide monthly safety meetings and training sessions covering a wide range of topics from respiratory protection to industrial hygiene, fire prevention, forklift safety, and emergency response.
Our HSE Philosophy
Cal-Chlors expects all employees, supervisors, and management personnel to be 100 percent committed toward having a proactive attitude in the workplace when it comes to maintaining a safe work environment. We pledge to perform in a manner that:
- Protects the health and safety of our employees and the public
- Preserves the environment
- Prevents damage to property
